Cllr Dan Gissane (Galley Common)

Cllr Dan Gissane was first elected to serve the residents of Galley Common on the Borough Council in May 2016.

As a local ward councillor, Dan is keenly aware of the dangers posed by unwanted housing development in Galley Common arising from the Labour Borough Council's failure to produce a viable Borough Plan. This has left the area at the mercy of developers trying to take advantage of the situation.

On the Borough Council, Dan serves on the Audit and Standards Committee.

In addition to being a Borough Councillor, Dan was honoured to be elected as the County Councillor for Galley Common in May 2017. On the County Council he serves on the Children & Young People Overview and Scrutiny Panel.
