Ahead of the local elections on 7 May 2020, the Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Conservatives have launched their manifesto.
Only the Conservatives have a plan to turn both Nuneaton and Bedworth around after 44 years of Labour control, but we can only achieve the change that our communities need if residents support it at the ballot box this May.
Cllr Kris Wilson, Leader of the Conservative Group, said:
"It is a pleasure to welcome the chairman of our party, Amanda Milling, to Nuneaton to help launch our manifesto. We are the only party that listens to the residents of Nuneaton and Bedworth and have a plan to tackle the peoples' priorities.
"Our Borough definitely needs a new direction to move us forward and take us out of the decline that we have seen under Labour. This manifesto puts forward a plan that residents across Nuneaton and Bedworth have told us they want, and we have the vision, ambition and aspiration that is needed to turn around this Borough."
The main headlines from the manifesto launched today include:
- Transforming our town centres
- Cutting tax and stopping waste
- Cleaning up our Borough
- Making our streets safer
- Getting the right homes in the right places
